تهدف المنصة إلى توسيع نطاق العمل التطوعي في دولة الإمارات من خلال تسهيل عملية التطوع، حيث تعمل المنصة بدور الوسيط بين الراغبين بالتطوع و الفرص التطوعيّة المتاحة من قبل مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص . من خلال المنصّة، يتم تسهيل عملية البحث عن فرص تطوعية للراغبين بالتطوع حسب اهتماماتهم ومهاراتهم وخبراتهم و حيث يقومون بإدراج أسمائهم وتسجيل حساباتهم على الموقع ، في حين تقوم المؤسسات بالإعلان عن الفرص التطوعية حسب احتياجاتهم.

The platform aims to expand the scope of volunteer work in the UAE by facilitating the volunteering process, as the platform acts as a mediator between those wishing to volunteer and the volunteer opportunities available by public and private sector institutions. Through the platform, the process of searching for volunteer opportunities is facilitated for those wishing to volunteer according to their interests, skills and experience, as they list their names and register their accounts on the site, while institutions announce volunteer opportunities according to their needs.

تأسس مركز الشارقة للتطوع عام 2016 بهدف المساهمة في تحقيق التكافل الاجتماعي والتلاحم المجتمعي في إمارة الشارقة، حيث يتولى المركز مهمة تنظيم العمل التطوعي ونشر ثقافته بين أفراد المجتمع ومؤسساته .

The Sharjah Volunteer Center was established in 2016 with the aim of contributing to achieving social solidarity and community cohesion in the Emirate of Sharjah. The Center undertakes the task of organizing volunteer work and spreading its culture among community members and institutions.
